Install and setup a printer in Windows 10

A VCCARE: Generally, you can begin printing as soon as you connect a printer to your PC or add a new printer to your home network. The majority of printers are supported by Windows 10, so installing specific printer software is probably not necessary. Updating Windows 10 may make more printer drivers and support available.

To install or add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth VCCARE

Windows should be able to locate your VCCARE with ease if it is turned on and linked to the network. All printers on a network, including wireless and Bluetooth printers as well as printers connected to multiple computers and shared over the network, can be considered available printers. For some printers, installation authorization may be required.

1. After choosing Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, press the Start button.
2. Access the printer and scanner settings.
3. Click on Add a scanner or printer. Once it has located nearby printers, wait for it to select one, then click Add device.

Choose The printer that I want isn't listed if your printer isn't in the list, and then follow the directions to manually add it using one of the options.

• For your PC to locate and install the printer, you must make sure that you are connected to the same network as the printer, even if you have multiple wireless routers with different SSIDs or extenders.
• See the printer's instructions if you have a new wireless printer that hasn't been connected to your home network.
• Usually, setting up a printer just requires connecting it to your computer. All you have to do is turn on your printer by plugging its USB cable into a USB port on your PC.

To install or add a local a VCCARE

After choosing Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, press the Start button.

1. Access the printer and scanner settings.
2. Click on Add a scanner or printer. Once it has located nearby printers, wait for it to select one, then click Add device.
3. Choose The printer that I want isn't listed if your printer isn't in the list, and then follow the directions to manually add it using one of the options.
